Steeple Tech Workshop

This is a two day, practical workshop on available podcasting technologies, designed to get participants experience in installing, implementing and using two systems, provide an overview on other emerging systems, and allow extensive discussion on related topics.

Session 2

Podcast Producer Practicals

Installing Podcast Producer, clustering, workflow development, integration tips, customisations, etc. Teams of two will be working through and experimenting with the setup and configuration of Mac OS X server with PcP 1.0 guided by Carl Marshall and Peter Robinson.

RePlay Practicals

Introduction, Installing and Testing Replay Practical and Experimentation lead by Tobias Wunden from the Replay development team at ETH Zurich. This may run on into the afternoon session.

The Discussions

The Terena Report - Carl Marshall provides feedback and overview of the situation in Europe with regard to podcasting activities and news from the recent Media Management and Distribution Workshop hosted by Terena in Zurich.

Group conversations around issues suchs as Capture, Legal/Social Processes, Media Management Systems, Hardware requirements and usage, Scheduling/Directory System integrations and more.
